Piers Taylor lives with his wife and daughter in the family home he designed for the three of them in one of his first projects as an architect. Years later, he reflects on his home and how it has changed from its initial construction to its recent renovation. It is not easy to analyse one’s own work, to see and recognise the mistakes of one’s youth and to realise, over the years, that you would do everything differently. Moonshine is a close and honest portrait of the feelings of an architect when inhabiting his own work, with its imperfections, but above all, it tells us how to fall in love again with that work, which is his home.
